Presented for your consideration is neat antique electric shock penny arcade machine. It dates to the 1930s and was made by the Advance Machine Company in Chicago. It is a number 4 machine and is painted dark red with 2 large knob handles on the front. This coin op machine challenges the player\'s ability to withstand a shock. As the timer on the machine goes down the stronger the shock gets. The player is challenged to hold onto the knob for as long as possible. The coin slot is marked with \"No. 4 Advance Machine Co. Chicago.\" The machine sits on top of a matching weighted stand that is marked with \"U.S. Tool Co. Ampere N.J.\" Guaranteed to be old. Dates to the 1930s. This neat machine would make a great addition to any penny arcade or coin-op collection!
The machine is untested I do not have a battery for it. When I stored the machine over 30 years ago it was working. The timer works when a penny is inserted. The mechanism looks like it\'s all there. Missing the top marquee. Left knob has a dent in it. Typical wear from age and use. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Measures 9\" wide at the machine 7\" deep at the machine and 11 1/2\"tall.
It has the original lock and key.
