Old Antique Vtg Ca 1870s 80s Cabinet Photo Boxers Large Crowd Street Scene Fargo For Sale

This offering is for an antique early 19th century mounted cabinet photograph of two boxers standing at the center of a large crowd. The image was taken outdoors on a dirt street with wooden sidewalks. The store front behind the boxers has a sign above the door which reads "FARGO SHOES" so I think it might have been taken in Fargo North Dakota. The boxers are wearing boxing gloves which seems to be an early visual for their use as the image appears to date from the 1870's or possibly 1880's. The mount measures app. 8" X 10" with an image size of 4.75" by 7.75" As is typical for outdoor images of this period the contrast is on the light side but the focus is above average. The condition is very nice with minor wear to the surface at the corners and soiling to the mount but no rips, tears or repairs.
