Old & Rare ~15\" Telechron Dealer Advertising Clock Model 1F312; Runs; Keeps Time For Sale

This clock is an awesome item for the real, genuine Telechron/General Electric Clock enthusiast to own and display; a real rarity! This is an old & quite rare 8-sided Telechron Dealer Advertising Clock, Telechron Model 1F312; it Runs & Keeps Time. Other Telechron Advertising Clocks are much more common from our experience, such as the internally-lit large Telechron wooden-box clock. This one is hardly-ever encountered. Even this one comes in variations; those having the metal model info plate being more common than this one with the Decal-based info on the motor cup. This clock does show signs of use and age, but mostly in the form of assorted paint splatters around the edges, presumably from having been hung on the walls during repaintings of the walls/ceilings. Interestingly, the 8 sides of the Octagon are not all the same length, with the two vertical sides being elongated. The original finish is a sort of metallic-looking steel grey golor, sort of like an un-blued gun finish. As the pictures show, the wording on the clock face says \"Telechron Electric Clocks\" in 2 separate lines of bright blue lettering. This can be hung with the cord exiting at either the top or the bottom; we have installed grommets (soft \"bushings\") in both cord slots for safety; and we have replaced the cord with a new period-appropriate brown rayon cord. The matter of removing the wall-painting speckles or repainting the clock we have left up to the collector/owner. We prefer to keep things original where safe to do so, and let the Buyer decide the other items.
