Portrait is of world renowned American Fashion Designer and Business Woman Adele Simpson (1903-1995). Simpson had a storied career in fashion spanning 5 decades. Her dresses were a regular on presidential first ladies and movie stars. Horst was well known as a fashion photographer, and thus, the result here is the quintessential pairing.
