Pair Antique American Encaustic Tiling Co. Tiles of Man Woman in 17th c. Costume:

A rare pair of tiles featuring a man and woman in 17th century costume by the American Encaustic Tile Company.
Each tile measures 6" by 6" and features a figural relief pattern with majolica glaze.
Condition:
Both tiles have minor chipping at corners and along some edges. They also both have crazing.The tiles of the woman has some chipping along the back side of her ear.Both tiles also have glue marks to the back side where they were apparently mounted at some point.

Measurements: 6" by 6"Weight: Approximately 1 pound 6 ounces each.
