For your consideration is a Genuine Plumb Boy ScoutHatchet. It dates Cir. 1941 to1950. The hatchet is 13.25” long from the end of thehandle to the top of the head. The headis 5” from the butt to center of the bit.The cutting edge is approximately 3.25” long. The handle is 11.125” long. The hatchet weighs 1.06 lbs. The head is marked Genuine Plumb and has theBoy Scout emblem. The handle is marked,but worn. I can make out Original & Axe.

The hatchet is in good condition. It is solid, the head is tight. There are scratches and dings on the head. Thehandle has scratches and some areas where the wood is chipped (please seephoto).
