RANDALL MADE KNIFE NO. 1-8” ONE PIN STAG HEISER BROWN BUTTON SHEATH BROCK SAFARI:
$5500.00

This vintage Randall Made Knife, model NO. 1-8", is a beautifully crafted all-purpose fighting knife. The blade is made of high-quality carbon steel with a clip point and a plain edge, perfect for outdoor and survival activities. The handle is made of genuine stag/antler material, providing a comfortable finger grip and a touch of elegance to the overall design.

This knife features a hiddenfull tang construction, a single pinned finger grip stag ensuring durability and sturdiness. It comes with a Heiser brown button sheath and is an original piece from the early 1950s.

Knife was owned and used on safari by big game hunter O. Carlyle Brock, III. Author of the Brock Safari 1950 and the Brock Shakari of 1952, accounts of his hunting expeditions to Africa and India to hunt big game. The book, mainly a pictorial account of the safari has a photo of Brock, III holding up a jackall kill and his Randall is flanked on his left hip. The book is exceedingly rare, and is part of the sale.

The knife, APFK, all purpose fighting knife, early 1950’s model # 1-8” carbon steel blade, engraved O. Carlyle Brock, III. The blade has been amateurishly sharpened with too acute an angle scuffing the blade lightly. Brass double hilt nicely soldered to the blade. 7 spacers in this order;

The single brass pinned Sambar stag handle with finger grooves is in near mint condition. The leather sheath is made by Heiser and has the brown button snaps, stitching remains perfect. The original Norton soft Arkansas stone has been replaced with an unlabeled soft Arkansas stone.

The Brock knife has logged well over 100,000 miles, multiple safaris, many big game kills and is a piece of history.

Interestingly, Brock a Dairy farm business owner tried to write off his big game safari trips as a deduction on his taxes, which didn’t work and he had to pay restitution to the tax man.

Whether you're a collector or an outdoor enthusiast, or a big game hunter, this Randall Made Knife is a must-have addition to your collection.
