Extremely Rare Prohibition Era Old Crow Bourbon Whiskey bottle label.
Consolidated Distilleries Limited, Montreal, Canada
4 1/2" high X 3 1/2" wide.
New Old Stock. Never Used. Near Mint Condition. Great Graphics.
I can't find another image of this label anywhere.
Used for a short period of time during American Prohibition, when they licensed the rights to the Consolidated Distilleries Limited of Montreal Canada to produce Old Crow, when it was illegal to produce it in the US.
Strangely, Canadian Prohibition allowed Canadian distilleries to produce Whiskey, but not to sell it in Canada.
This was a bootleggers dream come true.
