1940s Vtg Pittsburgh Pirates/ Pitt Panther Signed Autographs/School Album OOAK.
This listing is for a vintage autograph album from the 1930s. I believe it was originally Intended for school autographs, memories, etc- but it has many other interesting things as well! This album has 4 autographs, listed out below; 2 from 1940s Pittsburgh Pirates Players, 1 from a 1942 Pitt (university) Panther football player, and 1 a mystery player of a mystery team! They have been cut out from pieces of paper likely playbills, and taped down. Also written in this album are multiple letters to the young owner from his parents, mainly his mother. They are mostly dated, some are pictured. There are also the usual pages of school info, with nice artistic decals on the pages. The album measures about 4 3/4 inches tall, and about 6 inches long. Its about an inch and a quarter thick. It has a very nice art deco cover, with the gold lettering of “autographs” in nice shape. It also has a still-usable zipper around the perimeter to protect it. The main wear is of the corners of the pages, they have been lightly worn by touch, but not badly. Please see photos for details, comes as is as shown, autographs are uncertified or graded, but those identified match their players exactly or near so. Please read below for autographs:
