RARE ANTIQUE PROTECTOR CANNING JAR 1/2 Gallon AQUA LATE 1800's .

Beautifully Whittled Top to Bottom!!

Embossed Vertically!!

Jar has 6 arched, recessed Panels.  Embossing is very strong. Has Ground Lip!

Jar is approximately 9 1/4" tall & approximately 4 1/4" wide.

Jar has Metal Lid with Soldered Wire Clamp.

Jar is in Excellent Condition...No Chips or Cracks...except for a very little flat chip on outside of Lip. See picture #5.

Bubble/manufacturer flaw on back. See picture #2 . Bubble is smooth not open.

In picture #3 that is NOT a crack in the jar just camera flash trying to get the whittling. In picture #4 shows some shelf ware on bottom corners. It is well over 100 years old. Beautiful,  beautiful  jar!!!!
