RARE CIVIL WAR UNION MAJ GEN WINFIELD SCOTT MEDALLION "HERO OF THE MEXICAN WAR"
This is a rare and unique medallion featuring Major General Winfield Scott.
In January 1836 Scott was sent to Florida to plan and lead the Second Seminole War (1835–1842).This piece was dug just south of Fort Clinch, Amelia Island FL, along with other artifacts. Check my other listings for more pieces.
