RARE John Fletcher Ford Photo The Dalles Oregon 1900 - 1908 Wasco County Columbia River. The dates are when he had a studio in Portland. Most of his work was logging and lower Columbia. So this is rather rare for him to do The Dalles. It is marked 213 above his name J.F. Ford Photo is almost 8" X 6" and has no real issues and on back spots where it was lightly glued in an album.It has a pretty decent details when blown up. The J.F. Ford Photographs consist of images of logging and landscapes in Oregon and Washington, primarily of the lower Columbia River region. The bulk of the images show loggers and logging operations including saws and machinery; logging railroads, donkey engines, and trestles; log ponds; logging camps; and a sawmill. The Ford Photographs also include several views of Cape Disappointment at the mouth of the Columbia River, Mt. Hood, Mt. Coffin, and the Columbia River. John Fletcher Ford was a preacher and photographer who lived in Ilwaco, Washington from 1893 until his death in 1914. From 1900 to 1908, Ford operated a photography studio in Portland, Oregon.NOTE: I can't send regular 1st class on here as there is only ground advantage and requires tracking using their system.
