This VERY RARE cotton and wool 1770\'s - 1790\'s pieced, glazed linsey-woolsey nine patch quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted, with cutouts in two corners for a poster bed.It measures 92\" X 98\" and is in excellent condition, with a few small mends made with the original pink fabric (likely done at the time of construction) and a handful of tiny moth nibbles. The back is an aged white/ivory/cappuccino color, the hand stitched binding is black wool, and the batting is thin.
