RARE WWI Cavalry Military Lance Spear German Sword Argentine Model 1895 Pike For Sale

Rare German Solingen Weyersburg Kirshbaum Made WWI Lance Spear made for the Argentine Military. Originally measured 126" long (10 feet, 6 inches), was cut down just below the leather ribbed handle, approx. 63" each. Steel body with brass furniture, the brass piece just above the handle is marked, "WEYERSBURG KIRSHBAUM SOLINGEN 6175". 6175 also numbered at bottom point with additional cartouches. Just below the spear head shows markings of, "MODELO ARGENTINO 1895" with the Argentine Coat of Arms Logo. 2 cartouches on the opposite side. The spear head blade still has grease on it and we have made no attempt to clean it off. Actual spear head blade area only measures 7'. Steel pole body is dent free showing some age patina, scattered spots. The bottom point was meant to stick in the ground and the top area that has brass nibs was to tie a banner or a flag. Difficult to find, beautifully made.
