Imp de Sevres. This Sevres mark relates to the 1804-1809 period.Made in France.The swan cup sets are not only collectible for display, but also provide an opportunity to beautifully decorate unique dining settings.
Sevres factory, the French imperial porcelain manufacture produced high quality, luxury porcelain items famous throughout the world.
The swan design originated from Empress Josephine’s (Emperor Napoleon’s first wife) love of swans which became her lifelong trademark. Josephine was known for her excellent decorative style.

Condition:Very good antique condition wear consistent with age and use. Minimal gold wear to the gilding, some scratches from prior use. No evidence of crazing, no chips, cracks, hairline or restorations. For porcelain of this age one rarely comes across items of this good condition. Please see photos for details.
