A choice Amethyst scepter from this classic East Coast locale, collected in the 1980s. This is a great large cabinet example that is difficult to obtain from the find. The color and size is quite good with a small amount of damage to the tip, which was common due to excavation techniques and the glacially deposited nature of the source. The luster is very good, and the form of the Amethyst draping over the first generation white Quartz is really rather dramatic. An excellent toenail with exceptional aesthetics.
