Rare Large Early 19th Century American Globular Demijohn Utility Bottle Pontil:
$650.00

Here we have a great early demijohn / utility bottle from the early 19th century. A new England glass house is likely where this bottle was blown during that time. This bottle features a globular body with a long tapering neck, a crude applied tapered mouth, and a rough pontil scarred base. The glass is an olive green coloration and is quite thick. This example stands just about 12 1/4\" tall and is in great condition for its age without any chips, cracks, bubble bursts, pot stone issues, etc. Just a few touches of light interior haze / residue as well as some scattered exterior wear / scratches. A great early bottle! If anyone has any questions, please ask.
