Rare Rattle Basket Tlingit Woven Native American Indian For Sale

This is a beautiful, woven polychrome rattle top basket measuring 3 1/4 x 6 1/4” , 1880. The lid has a built in rattle and is in hood condition and quite beautiful. It was made by a member of the Tlingit tribe. The designs are beautiful, the basket needs repair. Rare and interesting basket representing rich cultural history and artistry. Very nice piece for a collection.
