Rare Rosenthal English Setter Large 12" Porcelain Dog Figurine Obermaier 1936 For Sale

For sale is an extremely rare, vintage porcelain English Setter dog, made by the famed Rosenthal pottery of Germany.  Designed by the highly talented artist Ottmar Obermaier, it is signed "O. Obermaier 221" on its underside accompanied by a distinctive green Rosenthal mark that dates to 1936.  

This large impressive figure is decorated with a gorgeous white and black glaze and measures 12" long and 6" tall. As photos show, it is in pristine, excellent condition.
