SPILLER #4 Double Bit Axe - (Oakland,Maine) Axe Head [Classic Canoe Shape) For Sale

Rare Spiller double bit axe: Has all markings visible. Including the year (56) and (W) on the underside of the bits. Clear stamps with what seems original handle. Black Filler was applied to the eye because wood was missing,and it was a wall hanger. The bottom of the handle has wood missing and has an old rubber cap over the damage ( see photos). Just a nice old axe forged in Maine considered one of the best you could use. Thanks for looking.
