A RARE, large and beautiful antique 18th century wooden relief sculpture / panel depicting Saint Francis Borgia (Francisco de Borja). Spanish Jesuit priest, the great-grandson of Pope Alexander VI, was Duke of Gandia and a grandee of Spain. After the death of his wife, Borgia renounced his titles and became a priest in the Society of Jesus, later serving as its third superior general. He was canonized on 20 June 1670 by Pope Clement X. Very rare and extraordinary antique woodwork artistry. The relief sculpture comes from a French monastery and dates back to the period of the 1700s. A RARE, large and beautiful antique 18th century wooden relief sculpture / panel depicting

monastery and dates back to the period of the 1700s.

 The overall dimensions of the relief sculpture are a height of 26.6 inches (67.5 cm), a width of
17.1 inches (43.5 cm) and a depth of 3.7 inches (9.5 cm). The weight is 13 pounds (5.9 kg).

The relief is in good condition with no damage besides age-related wear
