Hi, this katana is hand forged with t10 steel and is also clay tempered. It's hard to see in the photo because of the lighting, but in person, it is much better. As for the dimensions, it's the standard size of 40 inches for the entire length. It also has a silk and leather combination for the katatemaki style tsuka wrapping. The samegawa is real but stained black the sageo wrapping is also a unique style. lastly it has high quality brass fittings of a tiger and bamboo.
