For your consideration is a fantastic vintage piece. Original, first edition, 1927 hardcover printing of "Art of Dress Making" from the Butterick Publishing Company in London. Over 250 pages of period-specific styles! Really a unique and detailed look into this time period and a valuable resource for anyone looking to make period-correct pieces down to the important details. The book itself is in solid condition considering it is ~100 years old, with a nice tight binding. Pages show age-appropriate browning to prove they're vintage, but nothing more. The cover shows cornerwear as shown, more or less some character. Unable to be photographed is almost an animal print-like pattern in the texture of the front and read covers that subtly comes out in the right light. Please see photos, but this really is just a great and important piece if you're into 1920's fashion.
Included is a niftly little ad that was being used as a bookmark in this book, encouraging women to eat yeast to improve their complexion. It came with the book, and it should stay with the book.Free shipping to the USA, and I'm happy to ship internationally. Thanks for looking!
