Historic 26th President of the United States THEODORE ROOSEVELT brief, autograph thank-you letter signed on KANSAS CITY STAR stationery dated November 13, 1918 – just 2 months before his death. Roosevelt thanks a "Mr. Bloom" and signs with a "T. Roosevelt" signature at the conclusion.
Letter appears to have beenpreviouslytrimmed and folded to accommodate framing of the signature.
An avid reader and writer, Roosevelt joined the staff of the Kansas City Star in New York onOctober 1, 1917. Hecontributed numerous articles onglobal events, the ongoing war in Europe, domestic political matters and topics of his choosing.
