Two authentic points - aAdenapoint that measures 2 3/8" long by 1 3/8" wide. And a Kirk Stemmed pointthat measures 2 1/16" long by 1 3/8" wide. The Adena is from Seminole County, Georgia and the Kirk is from Seminole/Early Counties, Goergia. Both are land finds made out of Coastal Plain Chert. The Adena was once a very large point, now worked down, with a nice base. The Kirk is well made and thin. These points were part of the Mike Warren collection. Mr. Warren was a local postmaster in Colquitt, Georgia. He was not the finder, but locals from all over the area would bring him points to buy. Mr. Warren sold these to Kevin Dowdy of Fowlstown, Georgia in the 1990's. I bought these from Mr. Dowdy in 1999 and they have been in my collection since.
