Favrile glass is a type of iridescent art glass developed by Louis C. Tiffany. He patented this process in 1894 and first produced the glass for manufacturing in 1896 in Queens, New York. He called his new techniqueFavrile,after the old English word \"fabrile\"which means handmade or hand crafted.
This cordial is 5-1/2\" tall, 2\" in diameter at the mouth and 2-1/4\" in diameter at the base and weighs: 2.6 grams.
There are some paint wear on the inside of the bowl (see pictures)
It is signed L.C.T and numbered T4548.
This cordial has a beautiful gold iridescent tone with some extra gold sparkle at the base.A true beauty!
This 24% lead crystal cordial is inoutstanding condition with no chips, cracks or otherwise.
