Tobacciana Chromolithographs ca. 1880 Tobacco Black Interest:
$10.00

Tobacciana Chromolithographs ca. 1880
These chromos are contained in a 6\" x 9 12\" 20 or so page booklet produced by Allen & Ginter tobacconists from Richmond, Va. Their company was founded in 1865 eventually growing to nearly 1,100 employees, mostly young women. There is an extensive history of them at RVAHUB on line.
The booklet is yarn bound and many of the pages have pulled loose from the binding. It appears that there was probably a front wrapper (paper) to match the rear wrapper, but it is gone. Internally the pages are in fine condition, and most of the chromos are tissue guarded.
