VINTAGE AMPRO A8 8MM PRECISION PROJECTOR - SN 1001 - FIRST A8 MADE? - WORKS UP FOR sale IS THIS VINTAGE/ANTIQUE AMPRO A8 8MM PRECISION PROJECTOR WITH CASE & REEL IN WORKING CONDITION. This may have been the very first A8 manufactured as the serial number is 1001. This is the lowest serial number that I have seen and the only one that is stamped A8 in the plate. It has normal wear and paint-loss. The case is in very good condition and the handle looks great but, because of its age, I do not pick it up by the handle. It is leather and it is old. The case has normal wear inside and out. The cord is missing and I spent a day trying to find one that would work but in the end, I made my own and I was able to confirm that everything appears to work properly. The switches all work and I am send the cord with the projector and you can use it if you want. It would be pretty amazing to own something that was the first ever made! This projector has not been film tested and is sold AS-IS.
