This lot of 25 NRA and ROTC Marksmanship medals and one coin are all from the estate of a retired UAH Engineering professor and NASA, Army, Boeing and General Dynamics consultant who worked directly with Wernher von Braun on Saturn and Apollo missions (processes and procedures) who was quite the marksman in his college days. Most medals are dated 1951-1954 (some undated) during his college years and are all in Very Good overall condition and most all being in the original box with minimal use and age wear. Also included is an original 15 February 1954 Memphis State College School Excuse letter on on rice paper excusing students for a Rifle Match plus another original typed award paper.
