VTG Hand Decorated Gold/Green Stunning Candy Dish with Lid For Sale

Here is a ceramic bowl with lid that could be a lovely candy/trinket bowl. It is hand painted and shows \"Liz 1967\" on the base. The color is creamy mottled light green with gold paint around the bowl and lid with the lid handle painted gold as well. The lid has some very minor chips that were glazed over prior to painting and firing. These do not show when the lid is in place. The glaze has the usual crackling finish that these older pieces have and they add to the character of the set. The bowl and lid are both textured and the paint highlights that to a degree that would please most who partake in the finest ceramic art. The color scheme blends very well to set this piece apart from the imported stuff that is mass-produced. It may not show all that well in the photos, however, this set has whispers of elegance and subtle beauty that can hold its own against the more pricey pieces.
