Antique Judaica Copper Spiritual Pitcher & Chalice

• Look at these amazing copper artifacts. A very unique find!
• Pair of Judaica spiritual dishes recovered from underground
  
• All hand hammered and decorated copper with great patina
• They have been found together and we do not want to separate them
• Amazing craftsmanship
• Tall pitcher or ewer with engraved leaves on the handle, the spout and around the body; star of David on the handle
• Great chalice or cup with stylized engraving on the handle
• Both with great hand hammered relief
• The joints show an antique technique
• We believe they are Judaica because of the star, but they may be also Ottoman from the same period (ea. 18th century or earlier when the empire still kept its previous conquests in the central part of Europe). Just for your info - The jews in the Ottoman Empire were never prosecuted and enjoyed some high privileges, which was not the case with the Christians
  
• Measurements: Pitcher/Ewer - 10" high, 6" wide; Cup - 5" high, 7.5" high with the handle, 6.5" diam
• Condition of the chalice cup: Good/VG
• Condition of the pitcher: Fair/Good overall for its age and having in mind that has been underground, the widest part is slightly dented on one side as pictured
