Based on theplaque designed by James Earle Fraser in 1920.
The quote at the bottom reads "Aggressive Fighting For The Right Is The Noblest Sport The World Affords". James Earle Fraser is most notably known for designing theBuffalo Nickel.
The plaque measures 12-1/2" X 9 3/4" and has two attached loops on back for hanging.
Condition:
This piece is in good condition considering age. It appears to be a reproduction/copy as the original artist signature has been removed from the top corner. There are some file marks on the sides as well as a large circular mark near the top. The finish has aged and shows stains and spots of green patina. Piece still displays well and would make a fine addition to any collection.
