Hueckel China was founded in 1950 by Harold & Clara Hueckel in El Monte, California, south-east of downtown Los Angeles. They primarily crafted was high durability dinner ware for restaurants. The ashtrays were promotional items for companies and were real conversation starters. These items are great for collectors of promotional items and ashtrays from the mid-century, made in Southern California.
