Vintage 1950s RCA Victor Tube Radio 1R81 AM/FM Bakelite, Works For Sale

For sale is a very well made vintage 1950s RCA model 1R81 AM/FM brown Bakelite radio. The power cord is like new although the plug has been replaced. When plugged in, the radio came on and played well on both AM and FM bands. I cannot guarantee how long the radio will play this well as most, if not all, the parts may be original. See and listen to the video. The tubes are correct. The speaker looks great. Chassis is nice and has no odors or mice nests. The dial indicator moves as it should. This radio also has a phono outlet that was not tested. The dial is in fine condition, there is still some dust behind the dial, no cracks. As you can see, there are many scratches to the cabinet but no cracks or chips. This radio would be an ideal candidate for painting. There is no back cover. Two of the knobs are not correct to this radio, maybe all 4. Unsure.
