I am pleased to offer this Vintage Greater Tampa Showmen's Association Plaque.
This is a medium-sized plaque with the words "GREATER TAMPA SHOWMEN'S ASSN." rivetingin brass onit.
There are 3 palm trees on one side, a partial part of the state of Florida and a circus like elephant with the letters GTSA written on it's back.
The engraved words"Ladies Auxiliary to Myldred Gordon in Grateful Recognition of Your Valuable Services Rendered to our Organization" are shown in the left corner.
Dated 1953, signed by the President, Bette J. Rodgers.
The back has a metal hook and a worn sticker that reads A.C. Rehearser Chicago, IL.
The Greater Tampa Showmen's Association (GTSA) and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Greater Tampa Showmen's Association (LAGTSA) are charitable social organizations whose membership is comprised of those who provide endless smiles and family fun within the outdoor amusement, entertainment and affiliated industries throughout the Americas.

Condition:
The plaque has some marks and dust from age. Moderate patina to the metal and some scratching from display. Displays well.
