Vintage Bolex Paillard S 221 16mm Movie Projector For Sale

Up for sale is the Bolex S221 16mm Movie projector. In very nice cosmetic condition with some spots of wear and a few light spots to case. Been stored in the case for about 40 years and does have a bit of a musty smell when you open the case. I am not an expert on these projectors and do not have a 16mm reel to properly test. Unit does power on and bulb does project a light. Everything that is suppose to spin does so on play and reverse, though I do not know if the speed is correct. There is a strobe and I was able to adjust the speed control and dialed in on 24. The belt still looks to be strong some fraying (kind of like a fan belt). The AMP HAS BEEN TESTED AND WORKING WITH A GUITAR AND WORKS WELL. Without film I was unable to test it for picking up sound from film, It is a tube amp and looks to be very clean and tubes look good to me. Projector includes the following Bolex HI-FI 1: 1,3 F=50mm lens, speaker with at least a 50 foot cable, power cord, take up reel with case, and working key for lock and the original cover. Shipping will be very high unit measures 20 inches wide, 18 inches tall and 11 inches deep. Unit weight before packing material is 56.4 pounds and reel will need to be shipped separately.
