- We are not entirely sure what this object is or is supposed to be a model of. Our best guess is some sort of Tesla Referral coil or high tech stacked insulator.
- Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) is a US Department of Energy national laboratory founded in 1947 that does nuclear and high energy particle physics research.
- Measures 6 1/2" tall x 3 3/8" in diameter. Wooden base measures 6" in diameter.
- Appears to be constructed of aluminum.
- Plaque reads "RAY ABBOTT BNL 1954-72"
- Fresh out of a local estate. Excellent vintage condition with light evidence of age and handling. Some light scratches throughout. Displays very nicely. Sold as-is / as-found.
