• The Folding Sportsman II was produced by Gerber for over a decade, from 1972 til 1986, but this Vascowear version with black micarta scales with only available for a limited time and is much more rare than the standard version with 440C.This is a Rare Vintage Gerber Sportsman II Lockback folding pocket knife. If you are into Vintage Gerber, then you already know what this is. These are very rare and hard to come by. They only made them for a limited period of time from the late 70\'s to the mid 80\'s. This knife comes with V-Steel blade and black Micarta scales. That\'s what makes it so unique. Over all, the knife is in good used condition with normal wears, (minor scratches, dings, blemishes, etc. ) but no major damage. It\'s fully functional!!! The only thing I\'ve noticed is that it feels a little tight. Maybe it has not been used for a while or perhaps I\'m becoming frail. :(. Otherwise, it\'s in very good condition and ready to meet its new owner/collector. Additionally, the knife comes with a sheath as shown, nothing more, nothing less!!These knives are very hard to come by in this condition. Grab it while you can!!
