Vintage Mexican Cartoneria Paper Mache Sculpture Old Man in Tunic with Pottery 11” x 4”.

Weight: 8.3 ounces

Preowned. Very good condition.

Looking at the figure, the left shoulder of the tunic has a tear, as shown in photos.

The colors are still very vibrant from the red on his neck scarf and tunic, to the terracotta pottery he holds in his arms. This is a wonderful piece of Mexican Folk Art.

Also called “carton piedra” (rock cardboard) for the rigidness of the final product.
