This listing is for a vintage quilt top, probably from the 1920\'s or 1930\'s. Pattern is a 6 point star. Each star measures about 16 1/2 inches across at the wides point. Whole top measures about 97 x 72 inches. No holes or stains that I could find. No two of the stars are the same. Sashing on one long edge is lavender; blue on the other. Star block along long edges were not complete (see photo). There are some interesting feedsack and novelty prints, especially one featuring Wizard of Oz characters. I believe the fabric was printed before the movie was made, based on the depiction of the characters. It has been both hand and machine pieced....mostly hand pieced. Workmanship is so-so in that all seams are not even, and it appears some of the pieces were \"made\" to fit. This quilt top is from an estate and I do not know if the previous owners smoked and/or had pets. I try to describe items as accurately as possible.
