Vtg 1960s/70s MCM Retro Checkered Bedroom/Hall Ceiling Lamp/Light Fixture

Retro checkered glass bedroom/hall ceiling light fixture. The unique criss cross design on the shade is Amazing and Mesmerizing. Circa 1970's era. 

The light is large measuring approximately  13 7/8 wide,  7" from ceiling to bottom of light.  Fixture is new and holds 2 bulbs so will provide ample amounts of light but also looks fabulous with a dimmer switch for mood lighting. 60 wattage maximum in each bulb (bulbs not included).

Shade is in nice vintage condition. No cracks or breaks on shade. One small chip along the edge hardly noticable.  Please see last pic for image.
