an Independent Collection of various Legends of Wrestling
This is for a complete set of WRESTLING LEGENDS collectible trading cards. This set was released in 1991 by Imagine. The set consists of 60 different cards in all (#1-#60) & includes the original storage box.
The cards each feature a black & white photo of a legend of Wrestling with biographical text on the card backs. There is a small selection of Legends featured. Most have several cards devoted to them. Most photos were supplied by the wrestlers themselves with others provided by HB & P Archives.
This set was not released by any particular wrestling association but they do feature wrestlers from the giant federations of the time including the WWF, the NWA, etc.
Some of the wrestlers included are Bob Backlund, Pedro Morales, Bruno Sammartino, Harley Race, Lou Albano, Killer Kolowski, Billy Graham, Ivan Koloff, Buddy Rogers, The Destroyer, Mil Mascaras, Lou Thesz and many others.
This was sold as a factory set (no packs) but some cards have corner creases. The box itself is in pretty bad shape with overall extensive wear and interior staining.
