WW1 US M-1917 helmet (H.V.) For Sale

This is a WW1 US M-1917 helmet, with the H.V. ("H" shows it was made by "Hutton and son Ltd. of Sheffield" and "V" is for the steel supplier "Vickers Ltd. of Sheffield") and the heat treating number has worn out so cannot tell you that. it uses a split pin for the chinstrap. all insides are there, with the age definitely showing in the netting. its a amazing piece to any collection and i hope you enjoy.
