For the Collector today we offer a RARE - WEDGWOOD (only) BLACK BASALT oval plaque " GABRIEL & MUSES ". This Rare piece measures approx. 11" x 9" in its Gilded Frame - Sight 9" x 7". Is being Sold in excellent condition - Deep relief having Great detail with excellent crisp molding. We believe it to be 18th Ctry (est.approx.1775) this is supported by the last photo having two holes in the firing, common for Wedgwood in the beginning of there production.
