For your consideration, this 35mm filmprint of Kubrick\'s cult masterpiece, _A Clockwork Orange_. I have never seen a full length print of this title offered on before. It came from the estate ofa pro photographer/camera buff. I am not equipped to preview this film, but it appears to be complete on eight (8) reels (4 reels in each of (2) metal storage cases, which are included). Inspecting the film \'pack\' underbacklight, in other words, looking through the\'thickness\' of the reel,I could notsee anysigns of damage, with the \'packs\' appearing very smooth and uniform. **Idetected no trace of vinegar odor.** All but the first reel have Warner Brother\'s paper retainer tapes, as visible in the photo. The leader on the reel I sampled has a frame that stated that theaspect ratiowas 1.85:1, though IMDB indicates 1.66:1. I can\'t resolve this technical disparity. Help, anyone?

I have hadseveral requests for pictures of sample frames, which I have added to this listing. The questionde jourregards color fading, and indeed the cyan element in the print appears to have taken a powder. I apologize for this(now) obvious oversight! Magnetic audiotape is my bailiwick, not optical film. Some other observations from the (5) of (8) reels I inspected: All appear to have full \"count down\" leaders, with a female mannequin (shown in pix.)for several frames. The film stockis all labeled withvariations on an \"Eastman Safety Film\" theme. I noted that (2) reels have a \'triangle\', which I am told denotes 1970 production. Another is labeled \"Eastman 21\", another\"Eastman 4\". My characterizationas \"Very Good\" condition was based on the appearance of the bulk stock\'s *physical*condition, which appears tobe correct. For example the sprocket holes do not seem to be worn. Under magnification, I observed periodic *scratches*, typically along one margin or the other, and the occasional dark/black mark or speck. Subjective *viewing quality* is another matter, whichonly you can determine. **Please offer accordingly!** I would say that my photos do not do justice to the frames\' actual sharpness/resolution. For example theframe showing Alex entering a room is much clearer than my picture would suggest. Theframed artwork on the wall, color not withstanding, has an almost 3D quality to it.Many thanks to everyone who has written. I appreciate your time; it is abundantly clear that the film collector community is alive and well!
