Excellent to about mint condition, WWII US Cattaraugus 225Q fighting knife. These sturdy knives were designed specifically for quartermaster use. Heavy thick blades for opening crates and checkered thick pommels for banging nails. The blade is just over 6" w/NO sharpening and full original bright finish remaining. No pitting or nicks. The markings are clear. Guard is tight/clean, leather grip is excellent. Checkered pommel is bright and clean. Original leather sheath showing only minor wear, excellent shape. Very nice piece.
