ADORABLE GENUINE LITTLE CHILDS WESTERN HORSE, MINIATURE or PONY SADDLE- 7\" SEAT For Sale

Up for sale is the cutest little western saddle. It is an authentic, correctly made western saddle. I believe it is hand made. Dottie, my saddle model, is not 22 hands tall, she is 15.2. The saddle is just really small. I do not see a maker\'s mark on the saddle. It has some age to it but I don\'t think it is vintage.
The saddle has a tooled or stamped floral pattern on the skirts and fenders. It is a double skirted saddle. The padded roughout suede seat measures 7\". The saddle appears to be built on some sort of tree. It sat relatively properly on Dottie so I believe it will fit an actual horse or pony.
There are 4 small silver conchos, two in front and two behind the seat. The little stirrups are made just like big saddle stirrups. They can be adjusted by changing the buckle underneath the fender. There is a front rigging \"dee\" with a latigo strap and an off billet strap so a cinch can be attached to the saddle. The underside is lined with fleece which is in good shape.
CONDITION: The saddle does show normal signs of use and wear. It had been sitting in a tack room for several years and was rather dirty. I cleaned and oiled it. The leather is darker in color in some places, mostly on the lower skirt. That might be due to how the saddle had been stored. The leather is in pretty good condition. There is a surface crack in the top of the latigo strap where it attaches to the dee ring. The strap is still solid. There is some light rust on the metal hardware.
The little western saddle would make an awesome display item as western decor. It would make a nice starter or leadline saddle for a young child. There may be some fun ways to put it to use so put your thinking caps on and hit the offer button.
SHIPPING: The saddle weighs a little over 8 pounds when packed for shipping. I think the saddle itself weighs about 6 pounds but it is hard to set on my scale to weigh it, so this is an estimate.
