AMERICAN 60430 DEC 1918 UNION PACIFIC USRA #4605 0-6-0 LOCOMOTIVE BUILDERS PLATE. Up for offer is a beautiful, American Locomotive Company, No. 60430 builder\'s plate, off of the Union Pacific #4605, an 0-6-0 switcher for the USRA. This is scarce plate in that there were only 10 Pittsburg engines constructed for the Union Pacific. Dated December 1918. This was a S-51-21/28-165 class locomotive that was vacated on September 26, 1956 in Ellis, Kansas. Approximately 13 3/4\" across and 7 3/8\" from top to bottom. Plate is guaranteed old and original. No breaks, cracks, or repair welds. The two photos at the bottom are of this exact locomotive featured on page 11 of the Union Pacific Prototype Locomotive Photos, Volume III. An excellent addition for the UP/Union Pacific enthusiast or plate collector!
