Please read the entire listing and check for addenda. I respond to all questions and post the responses on the listing.

This summer I purchased a collection of about 50 American Flyer and Lionel steam and diesel locos plus rolling stock.

I’m not a Flyer“guy” and cannot service the locos.

Every items is“as described and pictured”.

I suspect that this pair is the most collectible listing in the entire collection of over 150 items.

I put it on my Lionel track powered by a ZW and it ran nicely backwards. Unfortunately I have not got the proper AF controller for it.

I see no flaws or evidence of“skizzling”, no damage or other issues on the loco. My guess is that some lucky collector will create an absolutely beautiful model. You have my best wishes.

I took the tender apart to see what was inside, only to discover that it does not easily come apart, so now it is sorta apart. I wonder if these are the correct trucks??

You can see the spot in the first pic where a piece of the casting popped off. (A casting flaw in the late 1930s). Another spot has raised up and will probably chip off. You may not be able to see the front of the base piece…it has broken right where one screw would insert into the front panel.

I cannot speak to the innards. Other than the casting issues mentioned I think it is complete; but then what do I know (I’m a Lionel type).

Listed separately is a Great Northern tender.

Weight: loco 4.5 pounds, tender 1# 8oz.

In addition to the trains I have about 300 nice die cast vehicles. I’ll try to work them into the items in this fall.

Shipping in USA via US Postal Service Priority Mail, insured to full value.

I accept USPS M/O._gsrx_vers_586 (GS 6.8 (586))
