Up for sale is a lot of100 3\" x 4\" turn-of-the-19th-century glass magic lantern slides of Palestine and the Middle East housed in acarrying case.Quite a few of these slidespicture holy/religous sites as well as local inhabitants, buildings,and the desert landscape.Most are black and white, but sixteen are in color.Some are labeled as to their content.Eleven slides arecracked but not missing pieces, and it\'s hard if not impossible to see thedamage when the slides are held up to the light.Some of the black and white slides have faded somewhat.The outside of the case is kind of grungy.
